v2026.3.18

2026.3.18 — March 2026

autonomous-plans notifications google-oauth roles timezone telephony email-templates

2026.3.18 marks the moment Loquent starts acting on its own. Autonomous communication plans execute multi-step outreach sequences — texts, calls, and emails — driven by AI, with full approval control and real-time visibility through a visual campaign graph. This release also ships a notification hub with branded email delivery, Google OAuth sign-in, custom role management, and organization timezone support. 37 PRs merged.

Autonomous Communication Plans

Loquent can now run multi-step outreach campaigns autonomously — scheduling and executing SMS, emails, and calls on behalf of your team.

  • AI-driven outreach sequences — define a plan template and let the AI executor schedule and send messages with full conversation context awareness
  • Campaign graph visualization — see the entire plan execution as an interactive node-based graph; every action, decision, and outcome mapped visually in real time
  • Autopilot or approval mode — toggle per-plan: let actions execute immediately or pause for human review before every outbound message
  • Trigger-based activation — plans start automatically after calls or inbound SMS, or manually from a contact’s profile; start conditions filter which events activate a template
  • Re-enrollment policies — control whether a contact can enter the same plan template once or multiple times to prevent duplicate outreach
  • Push notifications — get notified when plans need review, when actions require approval, or when inbound replies wake a standby plan
  • AI usage tracking — token usage logging for both plan creation and execution, feeding into the admin AI cost dashboard
  • LLM resilience — if the primary AI model fails, the executor automatically retries with a fallback model; plans don’t fail because of a provider outage
  • Discrete execution model — the executor schedules one step at a time, allowing plans to react to events between steps instead of batch-scheduling everything upfront

Notification Hub

Stay informed with a centralized notification system — in-app, by email, or both.

  • In-app notification center — bell icon in the header with unread badge, scrollable notification panel, and one-click mark-all-read; updates arrive instantly via WebSocket
  • Branded email notifications — premium styled email templates for call reports, plan updates, todo completions, and invitations; inline-styled markdown with consistent Loquent branding
  • Per-category preferences — choose which notification categories you want in-app, by email, or both
  • Rich call notification emails — call notifications include contact name, phone label, full transcription, and AI analysis rendered as styled markdown

Authentication & Google OAuth

  • Sign in with Google — full OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow with CSRF protection and email enforcement; available on login, signup, and invitation acceptance pages
  • Password confirmation — signup and invitation forms now require password confirmation to prevent typos during account creation

Role Management

  • Custom roles with granular permissions — create, edit, and delete custom roles; assign specific permissions from the full catalog and map them to team members
  • Role-aware invitations — select roles when inviting a new team member; roles are automatically assigned when the invitation is accepted
  • Consolidated members tab — team members, role assignments, invitations, and pending invites all live in one place under Settings

Telephony & Twilio

  • External SMS capture — messages sent from other platforms through your Twilio number now appear automatically in Loquent; the system creates message records from status events instead of logging errors
  • Improved sync reliability — SMS and call history sync is faster with parallel imports, real-time progress events via WebSocket, and automatic last-contacted updates
  • Smarter voice agent tools — enhanced tool instructions and required transfer numbers prevent misconfigured call routing

Organization & Settings

  • Organization timezone — set your organization’s timezone and every timestamp in the app — dashboard, reports, calls, messages — adjusts to local time automatically; daily reports now send at 5 AM in each organization’s local timezone
  • Default contact tags — new organizations start with a curated set of 10 default tags: New Lead, Hot Lead, Existing Client, and more
  • Duplicate phone prevention — the system prevents adding the same phone number to multiple contacts within your organization
  • Markdown in contact notes — full markdown rendering with tables, strikethrough, task lists, and proper prose styling
